Aġenzija Sapport invites applications for the role of Executive III (Coordinator) within its Supported Independent Living Service in Gozo.
The selected candidate will receive a minimum annual basic salary of €25,126, together with a yearly Coordinator’s Allowance of €1,555. Further allowances apply depending on experience and qualifications, as outlined in the requisites section.
About the role
As Coordinator, you will help ensure the smooth running of the service, supporting service users’ wellbeing and responding to their needs through careful planning and timely interventions. You will encourage communication and teamwork, helping staff provide consistent support that respects each person’s needs.
Working under the supervision of the Leader, Service Executive or Service Manager, and alongside the management team, you will contribute to continuity of service through teaching, advocacy and practical support.
What you will be doing
- Coordinating day-to-day service activities and responding to service users’ needs.
- Supporting and guiding the team to work together effectively.
- Advocating for service users and supporting their independence and wellbeing.
- Liaising with management to maintain continuity of service and address operational needs.
- Participating in a rotational 24/7 on-call service, covering service user interventions and operational matters, with additional remuneration.
Location and flexibility: This role is primarily based in Gozo. Attendance in Malta may occasionally be required for operational needs, training, meetings or other service-related duties.

Requisites
Entry at Grade D (Executive III): Candidates shall be in possession of a recognised qualification at MQF Level 6 (180-240 ECTS) or higher in a relevant Social Science, a relevant Health Science or another Management related field. In addition, candidates shall be in possession of two (2) years' relevant work experience*. Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 7 (90-120 ECTS), in addition to one (1) year relevant experience will also be placed on Grade D.
Preference will be given to candidates who are able to communicate in both Maltese and English, as well as those who have followed psychology credits, to the benefit of the service users.
Entry at Grade C (Executive IV): Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 6, in addition to three (3) year’s relevant experience* will be placed on Grade C. Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 7 (90-120 ECTS), in addition to two (2) years’ relevant experience* will also be placed on Grade C.
Entry at Grade B (Senior Executive I): Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 6 (180-240 ECTS), in addition to eight (8) years’ relevant experience* will be placed on Grade B. Candidates who are in possession of the above qualifications at MQF Level 7 (90-120 ECTS), in addition to six (6) years’ relevant experience* will also be placed on Grade B.
*Only professional experience will be considered: that is, consideration will only be given to work experience in the respective professional roles effective from the date when the candidate has achieved his/her MQF Level 6 or MQF Level 7 full qualifications (whichever comes first).
