Aġenzija Sapport invites applications for the position of Executive IV (ICT), supporting ICT services across the Agency’s premises.
About the role
Working alongside the Senior Executive II (ICT), you will help keep the Agency’s ICT systems running smoothly and support staff with their day-to-day technical needs. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain equipment and applications, and contribute to digital improvements that support the Agency’s work.
What you will be doing
- Providing first-line and second-line technical support to staff, remotely and in person.
- Setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting computers, software, mobile devices and other ICT equipment.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and OneDrive, as well as internal systems.
- Assisting with user access, system updates and ICT security procedures.
- Maintaining support records, equipment inventories and practical user guides.
- Helping staff use ICT tools confidently through guidance and training.
- Supporting ICT projects, procurement processes and coordination with external service providers.
What you will need for this role
- Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and software troubleshooting.
- Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft 365.
- Awareness of ICT security and the importance of protecting confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise competing requests.
- Good communication skills in Maltese and English, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing needs.

Requisites
Eligible candidates shall be in possession of the following:
- A qualification at MQF Level 5 (60 – 120 ECTS) or equivalent in Computing or ICT, or a relevant subject. In addition, at least one (1) year work experience* in a formal and mature ICT environment is required.
OR
- A qualification at MQF Level 6 (180 – 240 ECTS) or equivalent in Computing or ICT, or a relevant subject. Relevant work experience* in a formal and mature ICT environment would be considered an asset
Relevant competencies:
- Good communication skills in Maltese and English
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
*Only professional experience will be considered: that is, consideration will only be given to work experience in the respective professional roles effective from the date when the candidate has achieved his/her MQF Level 6 or MQF Level 7 full qualifications (whichever comes first).
- Candidates are required to satisfy all eligibility requirements by the closing date of this Call for Applications. Accordingly, only work experience accrued up to and including the closing date shall be considered during the evaluation process. Experience obtained after the closing date will not be taken into consideration.
