&lt;p&gt;Aġenzija Sapport requires the services of Full-time Occupational Therapists and Full-Time Speech &amp;amp; Language Therapists within the Access to Communication and Technology Unit (ACTU) on an indefinite contract basis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Objectives of the Role&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The selected candidates will form part of a transdisciplinary team in the assessment, intervention and implementation of Assistive Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). S/he shall carry out service users’ assessment and other interventions related to the provision of the specialist services offered by the Access to Communication and Technology team in order to address the functional and communication needs of the service users.  As part of her/his role s/he also needs to make appropriate clinical and reasonable financial recommendations for the purchase of relevant equipment including environmental control and AAC systems. S/he shall also carry out follow up interventions as may be required.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;S/he shall be a source of advice and expertise and contribute to the assessment and recommendations of strategies and assistive technology and their initial implementation. Moreover, the selected candidate shall provide advice and training in assistive technology and AAC to other professionals, students and parents/guardians. The successful candidate shall report directly to the Services Manager for operational matters and be accountable and report to the Senior Allied Health Practitioner or her/his delegate for clinical matters.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Requisites&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Applicants are to be:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;In possession of a recognised qualification at MQF Level 6 (subject to a minimum of 180 ECTS / ECVET credits or equivalent*) in Occupational Therapy/Speech Language Therapy or an equivalent, recognised comparable qualification AND in possession of a certificate of registration in Occupational Therapy/Speech Language Therapy by the Council for Professions Complimentary to Medicine in Malta. The salary is Salary Scale 10 which in the year 2025 is equivalent to €25,571 per annum, rising by annual increments.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;*&lt;em&gt;A recognized qualification comparable to 180 ECTS/ECVET credits, as applicable, is only accepted subject to an MQRIC formal recognition statement being submitted with the application.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Candidates who have not yet formally obtained or are not yet approved for the qualification specified above will still be considered provided that they submit evidence that they are in the final phase of their course leading to such qualification. Successful applicants must obtain, or be approved, for the award of such qualification. If the stipulated deadline for the attainment of such qualification is not met, the agreement will be, for this reason, automatically terminated.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Furthermore, candidates who are currently following a recognised programme of study at a higher MQF level than that requested above will also be considered. Such candidates are to submit evidence that they have successfully completed the necessary ECTS/ECVET credits, or equivalent, and attained the required MQF level, by the closing time and date of the call for applications. Prospective applicants should note the requirement to produce MQRIC recognition statements in respect of their qualifications from MQRIC, or other designated authorities, as applicable, as per provisions applicable to this call for applications.&lt;/p&gt;

Occupational Therapist & Speech Language Therapist - SAPP/2024/66/EXT/A

&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Aġenzija Sapport invites applications for the post of Social Worker on a full-time or part-time indefinite contract basis. The starting salary for this post on Grade D is €26,523 together with applicable allowances. Successful candidates presenting additional confirmed experience may be considered for higher grades. &lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Objectives of the Role&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The role of the Social Worker within Aġenzija Sapport primarily entails social work interventions within the area of disability, directly with individuals with a disability and their primary care givers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Social Workers carry out an initial assessment with the family, prepare care plans/action plans, and participate in case conferences/case reviews to ensure a holistic and integrated action.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The selected candidate will work to enhance the quality of life of persons with a disability through personalised support, receiving the necessary training so as to have expertise in the field and be an advocate for the service users.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Social Workers are expected to work directly with the service users so as to help them to fully participate in community life, in line with the Agency’s mission and cause.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Social Workers are expected to work on their own initiative, under the guidance of the Agency’s management. Crisis intervention is also an essential part of this job. The Social Workers will form part of a team and will receive supervision. The selected individuals will be accountable to the Leader of the service.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Eligible candidates who possess a Diploma (120 ECTs) or B.A. (Hons) Degree (180-240 ECTs) in Social Work with two (2)years’ proven experience in the field by means of a warrant will be considered for Grade C with the annual salary pegged to €28.314. Pro-Rata in the case of Part-Timers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Eligible candidates who possess either a Diploma (120 ECTs) or B.A. (Hons) Degree (180-240 ECTs) in Social Work with eight (8) years’ proven experience in the field, or who possess a Masters Degree (90-120 ECTs) in a relevant field of practice together with six (6) years’ proven experience in the field, shall be considered for Grade B with the annual salary pegged to €31,245. / Pro-Rata in the case of Part-Timers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Candidates who are in their final year of studies will still be considered, provided that they submit evidence that they have been approved for the award of the qualifications in question, or successfully completed the necessary ECTS credits or equivalent, taken as part of a recognised MQF level programme of study, as required in the aforementioned eligibility criteria or higher, by the end of the current year. Such candidates will be offered a junior position until the official qualification is obtained.&lt;/p&gt;
